Emily DeVillier, O.D.
Dr. DeVillier is a native of Roanoke, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana.
Dr. DeVillier completed two VA Hospital optometry externships in Tallahassee, FL, and Fort Wayne, IN, as well as a primary care externship at the Lawndale Christian Healthcare Center in Chicago, IL. While in optometry school, Dr. DeVillier worked for the Clinical Optics Research Lab (CORL), which performed clinical trials of soft contact lenses heading to the consumer market.
She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the Optometric Association of Louisiana. She is active with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and Fellowship of Christian Optometrists (FCO).
Dr. DeVillier performs comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings, provides preoperative and postoperative surgical care, and has the ability to evaluate and treat dry eye, glaucoma, and many other ocular diseases. She is also a myopia management and low vision specialist.
She and her husband, Gaven, a Brusly, Louisiana native, enjoy running, reading, traveling, playing tennis, and cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers in basketball (and of course LSU in football).
